Being late is never a good behavior. In fact, it is rude to everyone. However, I think I just did something impolite in this morning. I checked the clock when I left my mom’s car, which is stopped in front of school’s front door. Then, I took the elevator to third floor. Yet, when I came out from the elevator. School’s gate is closed. I was surprised, because I thought I could make it. Nevertheless, some students who took school bus can enter the school without any reasons. I think this does not make any sense. I think it is correct for me to take the punishment for being late. But, how about those students who took school bus? In addition, I was even earlier than those students. I felt unfair about this. Those students can receive tolerance, but I cannot receive anything but go home.

1/3 Journal - Trying To Be Energetic
Today is second day of school. Yet, I think it is still hard for me to get used to school’s life. I know this is not a good tendency, so I guess I need to get rid of my laziness as soon as possible. There is still one thing that keeps me energetic. Rock band members and I are going to have another performance, and this time is different from school. I’m not talking about talent show at end of January. This time we’re going to perform in front of the outsiders. Therefore, that requires more practice and more teamwork. So, I hope I can get back the intense feeling I used to have.

1/2 Journal - Get Back On Track
Today is the first day of school after Christmas break. Yet, I felt really tired today. I guess it is because I had too much fun in previous two weeks, or I haven’t wake up from the break. However, this week and the following week are seniors’ final exam weeks, which means there is no time for me to keep having fun or fooling around. It is about time for me to get back on the right track. Ms. Pamela just sent us an email tonight. She said that it is very important for us to get a good grade on our final exam. If we failed out final exam, that will give a serious impact on our college admission.

1/1 Journal - A New Year
Time past so quick. Today is already January 1st, 2012, which means today is the first day of the year. I had tons of fun to countdown to New Year at Taipei. In fact, I went to see a concert of a famous Taiwanese rock band. I believe that is probably the best performance I’ve seen in my life. Everyone always says that New Year means a new start. I totally agree with this. Therefore, I always set some expectations to myself in a New Year. Yet, it’s hard for me to meet those expectations. So, I hope this year I not only can set some anticipation to myself, but also meet those expectations.
