Moon Festival is one of the most significant holidays for Chinese. People usually have BBQ on Mid-Autumn Festival in Taiwan; my family is no expectation. However, there was a guest came from Korea, who is my mother’s Korean teacher, went to BBQ with us. We chose a Korean BBQ restaurant for dinner. During our supper, the Korean teacher told us that Koreans also celebrate for Moon Festival. Since it was a Korean restaurant, she also introduced food and tableware that we never used before. It was a pleasurable diner, not only because the food in the restaurant was delicious, but also my family and I had a culture interchange with the Korean teacher.
