Recently, British literature class is studying The Tragedy of Macbeth. We almost finished the side bar problems in Holt reader today. That is also the homework for us yesterday. By looking at this story, I found out that ambition can actually encourage one to do something evil or something glory. For instance, although in the beginning Macbeth was not brave enough to assassinate King Duncan, under Lady Macbeth’s persuasion, he murdered King Duncan. Nevertheless, this action result him to continue the tragedy flow. In the end, he believed in the prophecies too deeply and even tricked by it. So, Macbeth died in the battlefield.
